How to put eggs in turner?

Do they have to go in a certain way as far as bigger end up or down?? I have an old style turner with the snap in holders and I am just not sure how the egg is suppose to go in??

pointy end down pretty important

Yup, Pointy end of eggs go down into the turners, the big end is where the air sac is and where you candle down into to see development.
