how to quote

I haven't been able to figure out how to quote previous posts to refer to when I post something, answer a question, etc. Can someone please help me with this? I'd be most grateful.

On the post you want to quote, just hit the QUOTE button in the bottom right of that post and it will quote it in a reply box and you can begin typing below the quote in the box.
