This is so true, and so sad! I have to admit to thinking lately, while going through major pains and expense to expand our chicken run, "what have I gotten myself into??!!" But it's totally worth it and I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't love them so darn much.

I like the ending and the moral to this comic: "Raising chickens is a commitment, not a fad!!!"

I think it's a pretty good public service message, in the end.
