How to raise ducks

hi all I have chickens chics eggs I’m the bator and a rabbit I think I might want to add one or two ducks to my flock will they be able to sleep with the chickens my chickens free range all day and go in the coop at night will they make a mess and make every thing muddy can I get one or do I need two thanks so much for all of your help

You will want at least two. They are also a flock animal. My chickens and ducks are cooped together. Whether or not they make a muddy mess will depend on you set-up/environment and how you manage it. There are ways to minimize it but they are messier than chickens.
