How to regulate humidity in incubator

I’ve set up my new incubator in doing so realized it doesn’t show the humidity level so what am I to do? I’m at my wits end after researching I thought I got a great machine to only find I didn’t! I have day old eggs ready to hatch any help is welcome thank you in advance.

I highly recommend ignoring humidity, get a pocket gram scale and track weight.
Humidity controls moisture loss. They should lose about 12% during incubation and that is the most accurate way to determine proper humidity has been experienced.
It may seem like putting the cart before the horse but eggs vary in porosity which means they all don't need the same humidity. Add to that, readings on incubators can often be wrong and most hygrometers are not reliable.

You can get hygrometer/thermometer digital combo units pretty cheap on Amazon (like for reptile enclosures), use several to get an accurate read. I’ve also run small trials (4-6 eggs) with quail, 100% hatch rate at both 10% and 75% humidity throughout incubation (humidity is hard to control in my cheap bubble incubator, it is all or nothing!) so not as vital as temp, definitely use an external thermometer no matter what you do with humidity!

I had the same problem with my incubator, It was just a cheap Amazon one and it didn’t show the humidity. So first I bought a 2 pack of hydrometers on Amazon for only about $6.

And then for controlling the humidity, I cleaned a shoe lace with soap and water and then strung one end into the incubator, and the other end I put in a dish of water. This is a nice way to control humidity because if the levels are too high you can put less string inside the bator and more into the water dish. And vise versa if the levels are too low.

I've seen recommended the Govee from Amazon and really enjoy it. It's on phone and can check it without lifting lid.

The ones used for reptiles are fairly accurate too. There are several options available.
