My heart goes out to you; we have a small flock & re-homing a roo is not fun. Having beautiful, well-socialized chickens of good lineage will make the process much easier. So don't think all your love & hand-feeding will go to waste. As soon as you are sure, it's a roo, take some pictures of him at his best; post them on FB so all your friends can share it. No luck there, post these pictures and a thorough description on Craig's List with every chicken related tag you can think of so lots of viewers will see your ad. I usually offer my roo as trade for a some new chicks or for sale. And everyone is right - don't ask questions. Chickens have flourished because we eat them - remember the Doo Doo bird.
