How to remove hen for candling

One thing you could do is mark the eggs with a sharpie marker (they are non-toxic), maybe a small dot or X or something like that. Then you could do a quick check when she gets off the nest (taking care of her daily needs) to make sure your other hens haven't snuck their eggs in, without having to candle them.
 
If they're only at 6 days, too, I'd leave them all in. At 14 days take out the clears, or any that have not shown any significant development. Otherwise, just leave them be. When you haven't seen any more chicks hatch for a while, do a quick candle on the remaining eggs to see if there's any movement/development.
Just make sure the hen gets off the nest at least once a day to stretch her legs, eat, drink and POOP.

cracked open the two i removed and one was a double yolker and the other had no development at all. So phew didn't make an error there!
