I was painting outside and my ducks waddled over rubbed right up against the newly painted boards. Is there a safe way I can try to remove the paint? Will this affect their waterproofing ability if I leave it? They are 5 and 7 weeks old.

I would say it depends on what kind of paint! :) a little dish soapy water if it’s still tacky water based; rinse well after. anything else I have no idea. Lol. The acidity of the ACV like Miss Lydia could do the trick, also depending on the type of paint used and how long it’s been on there. :P

Update: It was exterior outdoor paint. After soaking in a warm bath I very gently scrubbed their feathers with a soft toothbrush with a dab of Dawn dish detergent on it. The paint came right off. Thanks for all the suggestions!
