I have better luck with dry hatches for that reason. https://blog.meyerhatchery.com/2024/12/the-dry-incubation-method/I had to add a little water, as the humidity had dropped to 28% yesterday morning...(Is a drop like that dangerous?).
Well. As I opened the lid I thought I might as well just quickly candle the silkie eggs. Yes, I am very impatient
Anyways...six out of the ten silkie eggs definitely had very strong veining
To be honest, I had not even hoped for that many to develop, as it is still winter and they were shipped...let's just hope some Serama develop as well![]()
