How to repel snakes out of home crawlspace

I need to have work done in my
home's crawlspace. The space needs to be closed up and dehumidified. Workers will not go back in because of rat snakes. Just a few snakes. I would rather repel them than take the time to capture them or kill them. We have tried mothballs. The smell permeated the house. My husband and i had to retrieve the mothballs. I have not been able to find any pest control companies in my area that are willing to extract the snakes.

The best way to deter the snakes is to eliminate what they are going in there for, which is rodents. Get rid of the rodents and the snakes won't have a reason to be there.

Personally, I love having the snakes around. They don't hurt anything except the vermin.
They are much more effective mousers/ratters than cats.

Rodents seem to be gone. We have not seen any this year in our home. We have mold in our crawlspace. The mold inspector said we need to have the space closed up and a dehumidifying system installed.

the old way is to burn clothes. snakes run away from fire, smoke and ashes.

Has anyone heard of and used a product called Ortho Snakes B Gone?

My job will take me under houses from time to time and it seems snakes find their way under houses for the winters because of the warmth. Doesn’t sound like you can wait but likely they will clear out as the weather warms.

A lot of folks put sulfur outside around the house to help keep the snakes away, don't know if that helps...

can you burn small pieces of rags first? they run away from smoke and fire - that is what I have heard.
