How to sell???

Hi, so I recently hatched 8 coturnix quail, but now a situation has arisen where I am unable to keep them with me . Anyway the reason for this post is because I see that there is a buy/sell section of this site but I am not sure how to use it. How can I sell my 4 week old quail on this site? Or even give them away for free if need be.

The easiest way to do this is to post your message on your Local State Thread. There you would be in contact with peeps in your area. You would be able to arrange for the exchange at your will. (I always recommend a public place, with other members of your family or friends present, when dealing with unknown individuals) If you are a mature adult, you can make your own decisions.
I don't know where you live, or if even here in the USA. Therefore I cant give you the EZ link to get to your State thread. I know other countries do have their local area threads as well.
Quail are not something that would be that desired to be shipped,,,, due to the cost of shipping, and availability pretty much everywhere.

In my experience, you are better off looking for local Facebook livestock groups. I haven't sold a single bird on BYC (though I may sell some hatching eggs this year to some friends) but I have sold many birds over Facebook.

You'll likely get a quicker response using fb as @Redhead Rae indicated, or CL. We used a livestock auction business (found using google), but who knows if there is an auction near to you - you'd have to google. In addition, there is that quarantine going on in the LA area for chickens (due to a very contagious illness), and not sure if that affects your area, or will affect selling quail.
