How to send your farmer to jail Update on Tester Amendment Post 239

Very well put; you're a smart girl...

My thought on all this comes back to my choice in how I stay healthy. Our bodies are remarkable filtering machines. We need enzymes from fresh food to continue to live. We can eat junk and be exposed to a vast amount of hazardous toxins and our organs can filter us back to a healthy balance. If we are deprived of the very things that alow our bodies to do this properly (enzymes), we start to deteriorate until we die of...something...

It would appear that our government would rather us trust in their decisions; toxic junk food and lifeless, dead foods are OK as long as the FDA says they are 'safe'. I guess that means they don't kill you or make you sick right away. Then they will let the medical industry take care of the resulting diseases with drugs and surgery. Side effects? No proplem they'll just sell you more drugs...

Think for yourselves to stay healthy. The FDA doesn't give a fuzzy rat's patoot about your wellness. This is all about the money...

No one wants to answer that question. People have a different view point when they've known hunger. Again, I have no problem with people living the way they can afford.

It would not be that hard. All those millions of acres that are going to make things like animal feed and other corn and soy products, used to be grazing land. Grain is absolutly not needed for a ruminent to thrive.

O.K., have enjoyed many of the posts but, again, S510:

U have got to be kidding to think we can graze and feed 326M people. In the best of land, 1 acre per cow. 6,872,195,424 people in the world and you are going to feed the grass fed animals? The problem w/Americans is they have an elitest point of view.

Want to send a farmer to jail, let us go back to 1920's farming and he'll go to jail for killing someone trying to steal his things because they are starving..........

Then how do they do it on countries with much higher people density, and alot less land?
Just saying. And no, its not elitest to desire natural ways.

They import it from here.

Like seedcorn said you are way off base to think we can survive by planting all the tilled acres back to grass and raise enough meat to feed everyone who wants it.

Europe, Japan, China, Russia, Africa buy from USA, Australia and South America. Asian, countries people starve. For them, a full day ration is a bowl of rice.

Uh, actually many countries range feed all their animals.

A lot of countries import a good portion of their food because they don't have the land to supply themselves.
