How to sex an Ameraucana

I'm getting an Ameraucana chick Monday, and I'm wondering how I can tell the difference between the hens and roosters(other than vent sexing). Does feather sexing work on them? Or is there another way. I have to get a hen because I already have a rooster.

I don't think you can easily tell for sure with the chicks, I think they have to be a bit older to start educated guesses.

it's hard to tell with chicks unless they're sex linked
