How to sex bearded silkies.

Am having terrible trouble sexing my 12 week silkies. My opinion changes daily

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

From what I understand you can't sex them until they are about 6 months old. Either they crow or lay an egg. I don't keep this breed, so I am not sure. But this is what I have heard here around BYC.

We don't have a Silkie section. All we have is the Silkie thread. The silkie thread is only for commenting. So just post a question on that thread. All you have to do is hit the reply button or scroll down to the reply box just as you are doing here. Post pics, or ask any question you may have.
