how to sex young white Mandrians

just wanting to know if their is a way to sex almost grown white Mandrians

We DnA test geese so mandarins shouldn't be any different. Two labs here in FL do the testing.

Thanks, yes I've used one in Tallahassee for DNA ing my emu and cranes...but i have six white Mandrians so i was hoping for an alternative...... Lol

The seller said they were born in April. I was hoping their might have been a difference in beak shade.....lol..o well i guess I'll know when head feathers get longer

do the mandarins not have the tell tale quack or the upturned tail feather in males???

Silver they are not related to mallards at all, and cannot be gender ID'd like mallard breeds can. Just like Muscovy also dont quack or get drake curls.

If you breed white to normal color....what do the ducklings color out as....?

You can vent sex the Mandarins.. that is the best way unti the boys start showing the color.

If you breed a white to a normall.. in theroy you get 2 whites, 2 normals and 2 that are split. you see alot of breeders that sell split to something but we always see ours at regular or a color
