Hello!
My ducklings have been free ranging with our chickens for about a week. They are around 4-5 weeks old. My husband and I made a little pond for them in our backyard, with stairs going up to it. I have tried EVERYTHING to get these ducks to know where their water is. I have picked them up and walked them up the steps and I have put treats all up the steps that lead to the pond. I'm not sure what else to do. I have two ducks that can walk up the steps just fine when they want to, and two ducks that seem to have problems getting up the steps. Will their legs grow any longer? Is there something I can do, to better help them get in the pond? Here are some pictures of my pond set up.
