Our chicks are coming! And I want to be prepared in case something should go wrong (but it won't RIGHT?!?!). I want to have stuff on hand because we live in the middle of nowhere and getting things when you need them can be a challenge. I think the kit should include>>>>

1. Vitamin E caps
2. Polyvisol w/o Iron
3. Neosporin

and I don't know what else???? Can you add to this list???? I know people sometimes dose their chickens with meds for different things. Does a vet have to order these for you? What ones would be good to have on hand as they grow? And can you get them at farm stores??

Thanks!

Corid is a must! Cocci always seems to pop up when the feed stores are closed. If you can't find Corid, get some Sulmet. Also, some electrolytes, maybe some Terramyacin and Vet RX. You can always add to your pharmacy later, but those things are handy for emergencies.
Here's hoping you don't need any of it!
