My turkey just goes on and on , one after the other for what seems like hours. How can I stop this other then placing in the over. Will he continue to gobble or is this because he is breeding.

Some turkeys are more vocal then others. The trick will be to determine
why he is gobbling and give him something else to do.

I'd post his breed type and maybe a pic so the turkey experts here at
BYC can chime in. Every breed is different. Oh, post his age too.

You could always invite the offensive gobbler to be dinner, and you will never have to worry about his gobbling again.

Its spring time so

love is in the air, if you have anything else around such as a chicken, dog, tree stump that he is worried may lure away his ladies, he will gobble to IMPRESS the ladies. If you have more than one, they will go back and forth trying to outdo each other.

How high does my number have to get before my name turns Yellow?

But I always thought Purple's name was Orange. (See Golden Feather Membership above)

How to stop a turkey from gobbling? Put him on the Thanksgiving Day table.

Short and succinct. no?

I have no problem putting him in the oven. He can see the chickens and stumps and me and the squirrels here.

over having squirel for dinner. I hear it tastes just like chicken, but with more bones.
