How to stop ascites fluid drip after draining? Anything that can be applied to the site safely?

The leaking did end up speeding up, I think because she was lying down and that was putting pressure on it. Also probably because she just had so much in her. She leaked a lot more than I wanted, but she did stop after about 3 hours and didn't quite leak it all out. The smaller needle might work better if I drain her sooner rather than later. Or it might not. It was worth a try, though.

She did end up feeling really icky afterwards, but she's more perked up this morning/afternoon. She finally managed a small poop and is nibbling on various treats like hard boiled egg. Appetite isn't the best but she's very passionate about the egg and tomato. Very alert. I think she'll bounce back just fine. I did make sure to bring her inside and been keeping a space heater nearby for extra warmth. Has electrolytes in her water, too.

Biggest concern is she's still having trouble using her left leg. So I'll be giving her massages and therapy to help out with that.
