How to stop chicken from laying eggs in woods?

Most likely the reason, broodies can cause chaos.
Are there fake eggs in the other nests?
Might have to confine them to re-establish the coop nest laying habit...
...or move the broody to another place.

There are fake eggs. It’s just since one hen has been broody that the EE has done this.
I just hoping broodiness doesn’t spread. thx for the advice

I just had a broody hen in the nest box, with three others available. They created a 'hidden' nest in the corner of the coop, on the floor. I could reach it easily, and eggs were clean, so I left it.

Then after the chicks came, one or two started laying in the nest again. Yesterday and today, when I went down, I am short of eggs again...but we have been busy. Tomorrow, I will sit down there with a mug of coffee and wait and see.
