How To Stop Chicken From Laying in a Bad Place?

I have one Ameraucana that I've named Nosy Rosy. Like most of my Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers, she is far less content to stay in the chicken yard and likes to occasionally come forage alongside the house. I have never clipped her wings, so she flies over the chain link fence. For the past several weeks, she has been fixated on laying behind a large bush against our house. It is very inconvenient to get back there to get her eggs. Sometimes she lays in the nesting box, sometimes in her "secret spot." I've tried putting things back there, but she just lays up around them.
I'm not a big fan of clipping her wings because I want them to have the means to get over the fence should they ever need to escape a predator that gets in their pen. It's happened before.
So, I'm curious...is there anything I could put in that spot that would make her reconsider her opinion that this is a good place to lay? I've thought about breaking her eggs, but I'm concerned that might draw a skunk (not something I want next to the entryway of our house). Any suggestions?

Our Americauna is also flighty. She just started laying today and the egg was in the nesting box but I am surprised. We so have golf balls in our nesting boxes, have you tried that?

Chickens lay eggs were they think that they can incubate or sit on them in safety. Sorry but they never take your comfort into consideration when choosing a place to lay. I have seen hens lay in hollow trees, under the hood of cars and trucks, beneath fallen trees, between the roots of standing trees, in old 55 gallon drums, next to fence posts, in brush piles, under the floor of my grand mother's house, and everywhere else that you can imagine. But always in the hens' mind were she feels safe from varmints while she incubates or sits on her eggs. A hen will also usually chose to lay on the ground. In my opinion any hen who insists on laying on the ground will likely make a good brood hen.
