How to stop my chicks from pooping on me

I have one chick in particular who loves to jump up onto my lap and chirp a bit, but when she’s just about ready to hop back home she leaves a tasteful present right on my trousers. If her poops were easier to clean off I wouldn’t mind it so much, but her faeces are quite wet and it leaves an uncomfortable wet spot on my jeans. How can I get her to either stop pooping on me or make her poops more solid?

Chickens cant control their poo im afraid my chicks do it all the time do u feed them anything other then starter crumb runny wise? X

When you sit down, place an old towel on your lap. It helps a lot!

As @Sammi_0411 said, chickens don’t have sphincter control and neither do ducks so they cannot control when they “go.” So, your one little chick isn’t just being a “turd,” (pun intended) it really can’t help it. Now if you want a wet poop, hold a duck!

I feed them worms sometimes

Keep a watch on her while she is sitting with you. Usually the chicks change their stance when they get ready to poo so if you can recognize it, you can quickly move her before she lets go. You do have to be quick though. Or just put her down earlier.

When they are little they poop on me but as they get a little older they don't anymore. At 10 weeks they sit on my lap and shoulder and havn't pooped on me in a long time.My full grown chicken used to find her way into the house all the time and she didn't poop in the house either. So maybe the little ones have to go more often
