Hi everyone, I have a wire run 4x 3 metres with closed tarp roof, the rain water pours down the sides and front and is getting into the run wetting the sand ground and it's just a nuisance, some water is pooling on the top which we keep an eye on and push it off which then pours down the sides and into the run, I would love to set up a gutter system to keep the run a little dryer, I would really appreciate any advice photos of any runs already have gutters done, thanks in advance, I really need to keep the run dry living in Ireland and the rain never stops, we will be putting on better roof next year and side panels but I just need a quick fix for this winter. The photograph of the run below was taken in the summer, now there is a better tarp on the roof which covers the entire roof area and reaches to the roof bar showing in the pic where u can see a shortage of tarp, the sides are open to the elements.

For a stop-gap solution until you can get a roof with better coverage with a proper overhang, try inserting a tarp extension underneath where the present tarp quits. Make the tarp extension extend a couple feet beyond the sides of the run so the water is shed beyond the sides of the run by attaching guy lines at intervals and fastening them to stakes pounded into the ground as you would a tent rain shroud.

For additional insurance to prevent water getting into the run, trench around the outside where the rain is shed to divert run-off away from the run.

That sounds like a good solution, thank you kindly
