How to tame my chickens and ducks?

I have 2 barred rock hens, 1 pekin drake, and 1 female fawn duck. When i got all these they were already adults. the 2 hens are fairly sweet and sometimes allow me to pick them up, and they will eat from my hands, but they are still somewhat scared of me. the 2 ducks are deathly afraid of me. they always run away and the male wont eat from my hands. the female will sometimes, but only if she is REALLY hungry. Please help me to tame my ducks and chickens and get them to trust me!

Id suggest spending a lot of time with them. Maybe get a chair and just sit near them after you've fed them. Talk to them, so they become familiar with your voice and if any of them let you pick them up, then do so as the other chickens (sorry, i have no clue about ducks) will see what you are doing and slowly learn to trust you. Having said that, i have some chickens that seem to like me, and others that run a mile! Even my alpha hen that is sitting on eggs at the moment never complains if i stroke her and makes little clucking noises when i talk to her. I can't see any of my other hens responding like that for sure!
