Hey, new to here. I bought a couple of chicks a few days ago. They are about 7 days old now. I had Japanese Bandam Chickens as pets when I was 4+years old. I remember interacting them a bit, but could use ur advice. To tame them, what can I do? I am busy and get home kinda late every night, but I try to put them in my T-shirt as I chill before going to sleep. They seem to get really relaxed when I do it and fall a sleep. I've gotta be really careful not to press them to hard against me, though. Is this a good way to tame the chicks? Are there any other ways to make them really friendly?

And treats. I started giving my girls meal worms from petsmart at 2 weeks old. They are also held at least once a day whether they like it or not.

Now evey time i go near the brooder they stand up and start peeping and when I open the door they want to fly out and sit in my lap.
