How to Tell a Fertile vs INfertile Egg (Pictures)

Pics
Hi I've been reading this post and had a question... it sounds like everyone is checking their eggs while they are still fresh ? can you check your eggs after they have been refigerated? we collect eggs in the afternoon and put them in the fridge for morning.... just wondering (we also do Alot of boiled eggs rather than fried/scrambled) sooo just wondering. Thanks!

Does elapsed time or being in the fridge or age of chicken change the size/appearance of the disc. From the beginning pics and everything else I can find, the disc of a non-fertile egg is about the size of a pencil tip.

DH says I'm nuts, but based off the pics on page 1 and 3, I have fertile eggs. My discs are huge and remind me of tree trunk rings. As far as I know, I don't have any roos in my coop.

These are as clear as I could get them. You can't make out the rings very well, but the discs are huge. No need to hunt for them.
