How to tell age of Turkey?

Hello, I have a pet turkey, I got him from someone else and he was already full adult. I have had him 2yrs and was wondering how to tell how old he is, and how long do turkeys live?

After they reach 2 years old it can be hard to tell how old they are. Older birds will sometimes have thicker legs, but that just tells you they are older.

Turkeys generally live anywhere from 4-12 years of age, with most falling somewhere in between.
