How to tell Ancona chicks' gender

Hi!

I have nine Anconas in the incubator. Really crossing my fingers here for at least three hens after the last BR clutch gave me one out of six, but at least they are good for eating unlike the Anconas .

Leaves me with the question how to tell their gender or do I just have to wait to see comb differences after a few weeks?

Ancona chicks have combs.

There is no way to tell for Anconas except being patient and looking at comb/wattles.

I didn't know there were Ancona ducks!
Just discovered one egg has twins in it...guessing I can write that one off.

Ok, seems the best way of telling the gender anyway. Just had some BRs and all the clues wouldn't reliably tell the gender - the combs did in the end.
