I have a 3 day old chick with what I think is a slipped tendon/hock dislocation.I am unable to fix it . I have hobbled him which seems to help. He eats and drinks but doesn't move allot. How do I know if he's in bad pain? He doesn't peep unless I try and move his leg. I don't want to let this poor guy suffer but not sure if he's in pain!! Please help.

They hide symptoms instinctively, to protect them from the rest of the flock, so it's pretty well impossible to tell from outward signs.
