How to tell if the chicks are laying eggs when you have grown hens?

Will I automatically know because of the size factor? Or will I be confused and not know if I'm getting eggs from the chicks? i put another nest box out there because the silkie went broody and I didn't know if the chicks would know what to do there was one in there last night, but it could have been from the hens?? how would I know? it didn't look very small, so I looked at the first eggs thread on here, and most were small. but there were some that were normal sized it looks like.

Pullet eggs start very small and gradually size up over a period of weeks. It should be fairly obvious which ones are which.

I have year old hens and pullets laying atm and I can tell the difference... Pullet eggs are little and cute.
