How to tell if this is a rooster or not.

I got this one in a pullet bin at rural king. I think he is looking more like a rooster. Can anyone tell me what breed he is and if he is a rooster or not? this is at five weeks and his feet and legs do not have feathers and are yellow.

It is the one on the left notice the lighter color barring than the other one that came out of same tub. Thank you for any help you can give.

It's a barred rock cockerel. The lighter barring is an indicator of sex.

lol I kind of thought that the rest were he just seemed alittle different.. he was just so sweet and hilarious to watch ...my favorite.. but i cant keep a rooster so im so sad....

i think i have a Rooster too. the ginnies wont leave him alone. they all are 12 weeks old. i wonder

The light one is definitely a rooster.

Hi. my chicken looks alot like the one you are saying is a rooster. mine is 12 weeks old and the ginnie hens keep chasing it down and pecking. that why i think hes a rooster also.
the chicken has this hair that stands up on his cheeks. what do you think?
