I have 10 6 week old golden comets. I want to know how you can tell if you have hens or roosters. I know hens are smaller in size but is there any other way to tell.

At 6 weeks you can make a pretty good guess at gender. Post pictures, of the bird free standing, of each chick and we'll give you our opinions.
Good pictures of the comb and wattles in natural light will help.

comets are supposed to be sex linked... so if their barred, then their male.

Golden comets are red sex links.
Pullets are reddish as chicks and look like yours at that age.
Cockerels are yellow as chicks and at that age would be white with hints of red coming in on the shoulders.
