How to tell the difference between sexes in young ducks

Is there a way to tell the sexes in call ducks? I have 4 that I bought that were from butterscotch parents. i was wondering if all 4 are going to be butterscotch or can I get a different color? Do the males look like males as soon as they get their feathers ? or do they wait until their 6 month molt? I used to raise cockatiels and the males only showed they were true males at that time..
How hard is it to vent sex them? Can someone who has no idea what they are doing, do this?

Well, I voice sexed my butterscotch calls... 1 male and 4 girls... woohoo......And boy are the girls loud.. LOL
