How to tell the humidity in incubator without hydrometer?

You won't be able to tell without something to measure the humidity. I don't use anything to measure humidity in my hatcher which is the older Genesis 1588. I know from using it in the past I need to fill the 2 inside trays with water during lockdown. This gives me 65%. I have the new Genesis 1588 that reads the humidity and I use 2 baby bottles the 4oz. size filled with water, and place them inside along the edge of the turner. This gives me a deeper well of water so i don't have to fill it up as often. My humidity reads 35%. My climate is dry and the shallow tray on the floor dries up to fast. With no water inside my humidity runs 20% - 25%
