how to tell the sex of an African goose?

I realize that this is an old thread but can anyone sex mine? I've always been under the impression that Sunshine is male and Lollipop is female based on their sizes (Lollipop is smaller) and voices (Lollipop always had a lower, more honky voice). Now I'm questioning that. Maybe I have 2 males? It doesn't really matter. They're best buddies and really like people so far. I just want to know lol. Lollipop is definitely the more protective one, always first to run to chase the dogs or get in between any "danger" and Sunshine. Sunshine was always most friendly and willing to be held, now he's the one to stand back mostly (of course he still comes to me just not immediately). Lollipop is now quickest to come to me. Any thoughts? They are roughly 3 months old. Lollipop is up front in all 3 pictures.

I was told once that the male is like the first one with the head held high, and the female with the head held level. I don't know if it is right or not .

Vent sexing is really not that hard. Well holding the goose and getting it to relax is a challenge but really not that hard. The girls have a empty cavity ( cloaca) the boys have a little blob that shows up. Never push down. gently pull side to side with your fingers.
