how do you tell if an egg is fertile or not?? if it was just layed???? thanks for looking

If they were just laid and you don't want to crack them open (because you have to crack them open to follow the guide linked above) then there's no real way to do that until a few days after incubation has begun. Then you can candle and look for thin red veins against the inside of the shell to see.
