How to train my duck to use a diaper...

So...I have always thought this was on of the best inventions in the world(still is).... I was never planning to buy one and I didn't. Someone knew I had ducks and gave one to me. I know some of the basics, but would love to know more! If someone could link me to an article on BYC about them, or just tell me here that would be great! I can't wait to take my duck Jeffery on walks and on car rides....maybe in the house if I can convince my family that ducks are so cute and there would be not accidents! Well thanks guys!!! I posted a pick so you guys can see what it looks like. The diapers are sold on etsy and my dad knows someone who knows someone who sells them! I can send you info on the diaper if you guys want it! I would love to diaper my ducks for an inside visit. They're not imprinted on me though and I don't think they'd react well. Hoping my next duck will be a little less skittish. Love your ducks name! Same as mine!

Just be careful because if you don't change and wash the butt off enough the acid it the poop eats their skin.

Starting them out young is usually best but put it on him while your feeding him something yummy like dried meal worms or peas then watch the show because he isn't going to like it till he gets use to it. I had them for my drake[duckling] when he was inside being brooded and he got use to them because I started him out young but you do have to change those diapers quite a lot but if he is just coming in for a short visit probably not as often. I finally just let my duckling not wear one I have old wooden floors and just kept paper towels and Oxine ah mixed with water in a spray bottle and cleaned up after him if I held him I put a towel in my lap.
