Using Positive and Negative reinforcement This is not a 100% the Turkeys are closer to 100% than the Chickens.
As I have posted in the past I allow my Dogs when they are out doing there Duty in the front yard
on a long line to chase the Turkeys and Chickens to the back yard and the woods were most of my land is.
For some reason more so the Chickens want to cross the road I guess there is something to that old saying.
I and my Family when we catch the fowl in the front yard we yell and throw rocks at then and yes we do not hit the birds but to scare them to the back of the house.
Over time we have learned to only take treats to the back door not the front door so they don't come running when they hear the front door.
So its been a learning curve for both Humans and Fowl.
