How to transfer Chicks from Brooder?

For those that have a GQF type Brooder how do you transfer the chicks to your grow out pens? Do you reach in and grab the buggers and put in a box or open one side and run them into a box held at the same level ect.? Just trying to figure it out ahead of time.

Just grab them, shove them in a box and put them in a grow out? That's what I would do.

If They're Coturnix It Shouldnt Be A Problem... Just Open It Up And Start Snatchin... However If They Are Bobs Be Careful None Escape--- They Are Wicked Quick Lil Gremlins On The Ground...

bait shops sell a minnow net they work well there are many places online that sell them too

Thanks I have both Bobs and Coturn. guess I will try one way and if it does not work I'll try something else, but you are right, one minute there just standing there and you blink and they are on the other side of the brooder like they beamed theirselves across space.

Try valley quail. I left the door open and I have 20 on a tree! That was a looonnngggg day
