We will be getting 8 new ducklings to add to our flock next weekend. The place we ordered them from is a four hour drive from where we live but we plan to go down and pick them up. Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep them warm until we get them home?

We have a way to plug in an incandescent light bulb through an adapter on our car and we're thinking of doing that but we aren't sure if that would do enough to keep them warm or if there's a better option.Thanks.

A box with a few vent holes, bedded with hay in the bottom and around the edges. All of them should stay warm using each other's body heat.
If they look like they are shivering, turn the heat on in your car. Put the box on your lap (don't direct the vents into the box) and they should be ok
