My 1yr old lavender orpington, Audrey, is limping and has a swollen foot. Bumblefoot came to mind but when I caught her, I couldn’t see the typical scab I did on some of my other hens. It was hard to find, but the scab is like a little pinprick and I’m not sure how that’s going to change the treatment for it. I’ve always soaked, peeled the scab, use a scalpel to open it up just a bit more, and pull the kernel out. What do I need to do different here?

What did you do? I'm sorry no one replied to your request. Today (8.2.22), I have a polish bantam hen with a swollen right foot (between toes) and a tiny scab in the center of the pad on both feet. But the scab is very small, as in your photo....
