Right now I am using corid and idk what the correct measurements to use are . Right now I'm doing 9.5ml to 1 gallon of water. I was reading that some people treat for coccidiosis every spring to fall even if the chickens don't have it ?
Is coccidiosis truly prevent able ?? I honestly don't think so because chickens eat grass and lots of animals use the grass as a bathroom

Do you have links to where people treat every spring and fall?

The dose you are giving is correct for treating a Coccidiosis overload.

Coccidia are found in soil and in poop. It's species specific. Chickens can build resistance to the Coccidia found in their environment. Chicks are more susceptible to having an overload - often in the brooder or when introduced to ground for the first time. Older birds could have an overload when they are suffering from an underlying condition or illness or when introduced to new ground/environment.
