How to trim feathers?

Can anyone give me a tutorial on how to trim butt feathers? I have one GLW who constantly has a messy bottom. I've bathed her before to clean her up, but now that it's warm again, I'm worried about fly strike.

What do I need to know to trim her up to keep things neater for her?

Trim with scissors. Prevent problem by upping dietary fiber.
