How to use DE?

I just got my DE and have never used it before. How do I use it in the feed? (how much?, sprinkle? mix in?)
And how do I apply and how much with shavings on floor?

Most people sprinkle it on the food and across the bedding. You don't need a lot just a light dusting.

I really couldn't tell you exactly but you can sprinkle it lightly over the bedding I think just once a month. Somewhere on here you should be able to find the rate you add to the feed. ( I assume you got food grade)
