How to use wazine to deworm flock

Actually when I was looking at the treating for worms, I read alot on BYC and its recommended to start with Wazine because it gets rid of the roundworms first and then followup with something like Ivermectin to kill all other worms.
I wish those old posts would disappear, lol. Pick one wormer and use it twice, do not use one then the other.

Another thing to note is that ivermectin is actually not a very good poultry wormer, so I would suggest never using it for worms.

Now that you mentioned it, she gave this to us in conjunction with cydectin for our goats.
She also said to use the sulmet with the poultry if needed.
I didn't remember the treatment details until you brought it to my attention. Thank you!
It was Fenbendazole (safe-gaurd) she treated our birds with.
Thanks for the gentle correction! It was 2:30 am and I was burning the midnight oil on the second day of a hatch. I am getting too old for this!:lau
Thank you @casportpony :)
I think Cydectin could be used to treat poultry, though I'm not sure what worms it will treat.

Of course fenbendazole will treat almost all worms when given properly. :D

WOW!!!! Well I love it! I will happily not use Ivermectin again. It's a bit of a pill to work with compared to Wazine. You just made my day! But if Wazine only does roundworms, what other brand does multiple worms? Oops and now that I remember I was treating mites. Had brought some peoples other chickens in and back then I didn't know to check everybody and keep them separated for a while.

Thank you!! So just use it for one day, return to normal water, then use it for one day again? No probiotics or any other medication?

I am not starting on it quite yet as I brought a fecal sample in to my vet so I am waiting to hear back about what type of worm they think we have.
Since you are working with a vet I suggest that you follow their advise. If it differs from what you have read here, let us know.

Ivermectin is said to treat mite, but I cannot confirm that. It will treat all types of poultry lice.

When worming one really should know what worms they have, but if that's not an option, Valbazen is a good choice, but has to be given multiple days to get some worms. Another good one that will treat *all* worms is Wormout Gel.

Edited to add:
Note that none of these wormers are approved for use in laying hens in the US. They aren't banned, they just aren't approved, so withdrawal on all is needed.

We have a mobile Veterinarian whom we have been using for a while. She has helped us out of a jam on several occasions. The Sulmet was giving to use with the CYDECTIN along with nutridrench when we had a kid down. She recovered. We had several other goats that were anemic upon her inspection and of course the infamous stool sample tests so.. all 18 got treated with CYDECTIN orally.
Around a month later some our birds went down. The sulmet was recommended along with the safe guard. Our swine are ivermection users.
All the rain has really dipped into our pockets health wise.
Their ears are getting tore up by flies now!!!!!!!!
I spray their ear tip w/peroxide 5 times a day. The rain has caused the muddy poo to turn into pits of (what rhymes with pits? Hmmmm). Dyer straights it has been for the last 2 months. If you read the times of my posts during day hours, most likely it is raining and I am on the side lines.
Oh well. It is what it is... No more:hit!
Oh happy day! Thanks @casportpony ! Thanks for putting up with my nonsense! You are an unsung hero in my book!:)
