How to??

I need some advice. I have 8 week old chicks and one is a rooster. I plan to get rid of him soon but whenever I remove a bird from the flock the flock freaks out. Is there a way to take him that won’t upset the whole flock?

Rehome him. The flock will adjust. Best of luck!

i would remove him in the middle of the night, if you have a red light to work with all the better because chickens can't see it.

I would just do it. They'll be upset for a little while but will get over it.
