How Too Free Range?

I finally got my first chicken!! its about 2 month old and I would like too free range it durring the day, but how do I start?

Ranging is an activity done by the flock. They walk together, they search for food together. They often listen to each other's sounds as they also watch out for dangers together.

I'm not sure a single chicken will do a lot of ranging. The confidence do to that would seem difficult to achieve. Just allow the chicken some freedom and bit by bit, it will want to search and peck and go as far as it is comfortable doing.
