How warm can quail comfortablly survive?

I live in Minnesota and I keep quail in my garage, now I know people don't thinks it get warm up here but it's not uncommon for it to break 100 degrees. My garage is also insulated for the winter months but it makes it even hotter in the summer. What I did to cool the quail was make a 5 gallon bucket air conditioner, it lasts about 8 hours before needing to be refilled and it takes at lest another 2 to 3 hours until the heat gets to a dangourus level for the quail. There are videos on how to make them on YouTube. Hope it helps

I live in South Florida condo but am interested in hatching a few quail. I still am not sure if I will go with coturnix or bobwhite, but I have very limited space. I plan to incubate them on my porch and really only want the hatching experience, but may keep a couple females for eggs and just give the rest away. My question is; How warm can it get for quail to humanely survive? I also have a attic area, should the quail get to loud for the neighbors but in the summer it gets quite warm up there. How warm of a room can they be kept in? I know during brooding a warm light is necessary, but as they get older does that get too hot? BTW if anyone in this forum lives in South Florida and wants to take extra quail off my hands, please let me know. All advice welcome.
Hello, we also have the jumbo quail and button quail, we hatched them in a incubator that was also a brooder so worked out really well. And we would love to take any extra quail you can’t keep :) we have a large 10x6 pen for them to run around in. And they can’t get over heated by the way they will did :(
