How well will a 2 year old Buff Orpington hen lay?

I seen some on Kijiji for $3.50, how well do you think they would be laying?

Hens will lay through out their life. They just start laying with less regularity as they age.

Maybe every other day possibly less. mine will be 2 this spring. and I get 1 every other day in the summer. 'not many in the winter, but I don't heat or light my coop and we live in Mi.

I have three buff orpington hens that are 2 years old and still get an egg from them every day. The 3 and 1 RIR hen are the only hens I have laying in this cold weather

She should be laying good but laying hens sometimes go through spells

They are some of the most mild tempered hens i have ever had. Out of the three only one went broody and she stayed in an empty nest. I got mine from a member here, but I don't think he's still a member
