I will never have mallards again - but thats just me. Mallard drakes are mean pedophiles. They molest any and all girls with in a 500 ft radius. My domestic bibbed mallard drake is a LOVER. Im so glad I found him. My girls actually wait for him, laying down and getting into position to mate. He has a crippled foot from a turtle trap, and sometimes it bothers him. It made my heart melt when I saw my girls doing so.
Where as with my mallard male I rehomed - he would grab my girls by the tip of the wing and drag them down, wing extended. i thought they would pull the "shoulder" out of place!
